You can thank ECOUTERRE for bringing you this story, because I was nowhere near Monday's episode of the 700 Club, when Pat Robertson responded to an e-mail from Carrie who wanted to know if her mother was right about her needing to pray over all her thrift store finds, lest she be saddled with previously attached demons.
To be fair, Robertson did say that he didn't think EVERY Goodwill sweater came
with spirits to be rebuked. He just said it wouldn't hurt you to rebuke
any spirits that might have attached themselves to the clothes. He
even supported his position with a story he heard about "this little Philippine girl" who had gotten attached to this ring that had been prayed over by this witch who had put a spirit in it and "and all hell broke loose because she finally recognized what it was.” (Ecouterre)
Pat Robertson. Can't stop, won't stop.
Here he is in full glory:

the blue shirt obsession
Last summer I fell for the blue shirt all over again. Found myself wanting one, just to mix into my wardrobe, then another. Next thing I knew, I'd started a mini collection. Got all three of these, on separate occasions from my neighborhood Goodwill; 5 bucks each.
Can't wait to pull them back out when temperatures warm up.
What staples are you bringing back next summer? What pieces do you think you'll always have in your wardrobe?
